Korvia Consulting is a recruiting company based in Seoul, South Korea that places native English speakers into Korean public and private schools as native English teachers. Henry Oh is the CEO and founder of Korvia Consulting. Working with officials in the Korea Ministry of Education, Henry has created partnerships with numerous businesses to ensure that Korvia always delivers the best possible service. With a focus on e-learning and teacher training, Henry is always looking for new ways to improve the lives of those around him.
Ann Park is the founder and director of Korvia Consulting. With over ten years of experience in the field, Ann has dedicated her time to communicating with and creating relationships with schools all throughout Korea. This allows her to ensure that each school finds the best possible recruits for its institution. Ann is also a firm believer in giving back to the community.
Steven Shin is a manager at Korvia Consulting. He is in charge of the EPIK program and public sector programs such as GOE. With years of experience at Korvia, Steven has developed a wealth of knowledge and skills that allow him to manage the follow-up processes such as documents, visas, arrival, etc. In addition, he assists with special events such as Korvia Pre-Orientation.
Eileen Kim is a recruiter at Korvia. She is originally from South Korea and went to college in Australia. Atembe teaches ESL via art and other creative activities in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. Michael Smit is an American ESL teacher working at a public school in Gyeonggi-do. He has written for education sites and is currently shopping his short stories. His goal as a writer is to climb back to the peak of his career when he was in the second grade and wrote a story about talking animals that did kung fu.
Simon hails from the UK, and currently teaches ESL in Gyeonggi-do. He lectured in film and cultural theory back in the UK, but since moving to Korea he founded the Korean cinema blog Hanguk Yeonghwa and has written articles for Groove Korea magazine as well as the Korean Film Council. His ultimate dream however is to one day sit in a director’s chair and make something of merit.
