Happy New Year! It’s time to start your journey to becoming a teacher in South Korea with EPIK!
We will be holding our first batch of Initial Application Webinars to help you prepare for the EPIK application! We hope that these sessions will help you make a perfect EPIK application and answer any questions you may have.
The webinar will not go too in-depth with instructions or guidelines; for detailed instructions and guides, please check out our pages on the EPIK Application Documents.
Through this intake, you will officially be able to be a teacher from August 2024 onwards!!
*This webinar is restricted to Korvia EPIK teacher applicants only. Please make sure you have submitted a Korvia application and heard back from us before signing up.
The following documents are required to complete your EPIK application and obtain an interview invitation.
- EPIK Online Application Form (done through EPIK’s online portal)
- Includes 3 short personal essays and a lesson plan
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
- Digital Passport Sized Photo (smile!)
- Proof of English Education letters for grades 7-12 (South African and Quebec applicants ONLY)

EPIK (English Program in Korea) is a public school English teaching program in Korea sponsored by the Korean government that places teachers into various cities as well as provinces around South Korea. EPIK is the most inclusive English program in Korea and has the most location choices out of all the public school teaching programs in Korea, spanning across all of South Korea. Applicants have the option of choosing a preference for their location.
