EPIK Pre-Orientation Fall 2018 in Busan

What is Korvia-EPIK Pre-orientation schedule?
From 3 pm to 4 pm, Korvia recruiters will help you with Checking-in and be getting settled at the guest house.
Then, we will meet again in the lobby at 4 to activate your Pre-paid SIM Card with Kimchi Mobile and open up your bank account with KEB Hana Bank.
From 6 pm to 7 pm, Korvia recruiters will give you a presentation on Korea Survival Guide which will include useful applications to download on your phone, insightful tips, and so on.
Lastly, we will have the world famous Korean Chimaek time (Chicken and Beer) with FAQ where you can ask any questions you might have while having delicious chicken and beer!

- Most strikingly, these days, anything can happen without fair warning. That includes major airlines losing luggage more than often so to save yourself a lot of trouble, please arrive a day or two earlier.
*Please avoid Chinese airlines if you will land on the same day of orientation. We experience a high chance of luggage lost.

Where is the orientation venue?
Kimchee GuestHouse in Busan (Downtown – Seomyeon)
Kimchee Busan Downtown Guesthouse is our charming and friendly guesthouse near the exciting Seomyeon area, Busan. The accommodation offers space for over 200 people and is located only 1 minute away from Beomnaegol station on Line 1, Exit 8.
Nearby you can explore the various restaurants, bars, cafes, clubs and shops of the Seomyeon area. Within reach are also a lot of popular beach areas, for example, the Haeundae area.

COMING FROM GIMHAE AIRPORT BY SUBWAY
COST: 1,800 KRW (WITH TRANSPORTATION CARD / 1,900 KRW (CASH)
- Take Busan Metro Line #BGL(Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit) to ‘Sasang Station.’
- 2. Get off at ‘Sasang Station’ and TRANSFER to Busan Metro Line #2 towards ‘Seomyeon Station.’
- 3. Get off at ‘Seomyeon Station’ and TRANSFER to Busan Metro Line #1 towards ‘Beomnaegol Station.’
- Come out from Exit #8. .(There is an elevator)
- Walk straight 20 meters out to the exit and turn right at the first alley.
- Walk straight 40 meters and turn left. (You will see a big sign on the top of the guesthouse)
- Walk straight 20 meters and turn right. (You will see a small circle sign at the corner)
- Walk straight 20 meters, and You will see the ‘KIMCHEE’ sign on your right side, WELCOME!
COMING FROM BUSAN STATION BY SUBWAY.

- Take Busan Metro Line #1 to ‘Beomnaegol Station.’ (5 subway stops)
- Come out from Exit #8. .(There is an elevator)

- Take the Airport Limousine at Gimhae Airport to Seomyeon/Busan Station.
- Get off at ‘Seomyeon First Avenue’ Station (서면 1번가 역).
- Walk the same direction a little as the bus goes and cross the pedestrian crossing to the opposite side of the street.
- Walk the same direction as the bus goes until an alley which is away from Beomnaegol Station Exit 8.
- Turn right into the alley.
- Walk straight 40 meters and turn left. (You will see a big sign on the top of the guesthouse)
- Walk straight 20 meters and turn right. (You will see a small circle sign at the corner)
- Walk straight 20 meters, and You will see the ‘KIMCHEE’ sign on your right side, WELCOME!
