GOE Final Documents
GOE Application Form (Printed)
Candidates must submit a fully competed GOE Application form, printed out, and signed with an ink pen. The GOE Application form must also have the Personal Essay attached.
Photocopy of BA Diploma (Apostilled)
An Apostilled photocopy of your 3-4 Bachelor’s Degree will be need to be submitted to GOE with your final documents. For more information please visit the University Diploma Guide.
National Level Criminal Record Check (Apostilled)
An apostilled national-level criminal record check is required to apply to GOE. It is recommended that after obtaining the CRC you photocopy it in case the Korean Consulate asks to see it when you apply for your visa. For more information please visit the Criminal Record Check Guide.
Two (2) Sets of SEALED University Transcripts
Two sets of your Official University Transcripts will be needed. The transcripts must include all the classes you took from the start of your university education until you graduated along with the grades received for each class. An overall GPA must be included in the report as well.
The University Transcript sets must be SEALED and opening them will invalidate them from being accepted by GOE. We recommend that you order at least 4 sets so that you may open one set to check that the above stated information is included. For more information please visit the University Transcripts Guide.
Photocopy of TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate
Applicants will need to submit a photocopy of their completed TEFL/TESOL/CELTA course certificate. Applicants must also bring the original copy with them to Korea. For more information please visit the TEFL Certificate Guide or CELTA Certificate Guide.
Original Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
GOE requires the original two signed letters of recommendation from academic professors or previous employers regarding your work ethic and abilities. For more information please visit the Letters of Recommendation Guide.
Two (2) Passport Sized Photos
Candidates must submit two Passport-sized Photos. One that is attached to their GOE application as well as a 2nd photo for backup purposes. For more information about please visit the Passport Photo Guide.
Photocopy of Passport Info Page
Those applying to GOE will need to submit a photocopy of your passport’s info page that includes your photo and background information. The passport will also need to be valid for at least the amount of time you will be in Korea. For more information please visit the Passport Info Page Guide.
