Shenzhen Application Documents
The following documents are required to submit an application to Shenzhen to obtain an interview for a particular intake. Files must be completed digitally and sent via email to your Korvia recruiter.
Applicants will need a professional looking photo to submit. Personal photos such as those from Facebook or other social media sites will not be accepted.
This photo will be used on any program or position application that you fill out. Korvia will also use this photo to market you to schools. As you will need another photo later for the visa process it is recommended to use a passport-sized format so that you can use one photo all uses!
Candidates must submit the updated resume. An objective of the resume should be clear that you are looking for a teaching jobs in China.
All native English teachers now require teachers to be TEFL certified in order to get a working Z visa in Shenzhen.Being certified will also make you able to teach in any type of school in the future in China & South Korea, whether it be in the public sector or private sector. It’s better to be over-qualified than under-qualified.
Applicants must obtain and have ready one or two letter of recommendation from professional or academic sources. Academic sources can include individuals such as past or current professors, guidance counselors, etc. LORs just need to be scanned and submitted.
- This recommendation letter is not mandatory however please feel free to submit one if you want to make your application very competitive and getting a job offer with a higher salary.
